Eric Maher, aka Impact Wrestling's Eddie Edwards teams up with DC Comics artist Mark Poulton to give wrestling fans a ringside seat for highlights from his rise to the top of the independent pro wrestling scene. Since his childhood growing up the middle child of three boys outside of Boston Eric has been a wrestling fan. He dreamed of one day turning his passion into a career.   In high school, Eric trained with the legendary Killer Kowalski. He followed in the footsteps of his wrestling heroes by traveling to Japan to live and train in a Japanese dojo as part of Pro Wrestling Noah. The only man in history to hold the IMPACT, RING OF HONOR, and GHC Heavyweight World Championships, Eddie believes and has proven that with hard work and dedication, anything is possible.

Eric Maher grew up the middle child of three boys outside of Boston. A fan of professional wrestling as a young child, it wasn’t until his sophomore year in high school that his passion for the business really took off. From training with the legendary Killer Kowalski to following in the footsteps of his heroes by living and training in a Japanese dojo, Eric believes with hard work and dedication, anything is possible. As superstar pro wrestler Eddie Edwards, he is a three-time world champion and the only man in history to win the IMPACT, RING OF HONOR, and GHC World Heavyweight Championships.

Mark Poulton is a freelance comic book writer/children’s book author who most recently worked on Savage Hawkman for DC Comics and Avengelyne for Image Comics. His children’s book, A Cat Named Haiku, was nominated for Best Single Issue Story in the 2011 Eagle Awards, and was selected to be part of the TogetheRead Program by teachersandfamilies.com. His Arcana Studio’s series Koni Waves is in development for television. He currently lives in Lindenwold, NJ with his wife Chrissy and son, Chase. In his spare time, he hosts the popular comics’ podcast, Talking About Our Issues.
